While I'm hunting down a name for my new hero, I remembered participating in discussions where readers complained that authors used ACTUAL English titles for their characters, regardless of the fact that there were real people running around at the time with those names. This could have been avoided by a quick peek in Burke's peerage, part of which is handily online at http://www.burkes-peerage.net/Search/AtoZnosub/A.aspx
So the next time you're inclined to name your hero Anglesey, you might want to avoid the title of marquis and change the spelling!
I'm still recovering from RWA and buried in work, but I'll be back, never fear!
Oh, and for the fun of it, I've added a picture of San Francisco from the top of one of the hills.
