Cauldron Stirring

I've finished the copyedit for THE WICKED WYCKERLY and the galley proofs haven't arrived yet.

I've just worked through my first edit of the draft of THE DEVILISH MONTAGUE and I'm letting it stew in the back of my mind. It needs more juice injected but I haven't quite decided how.

And I'm now contemplating the next book, tentatively titled THE NOTORIOUS ATHERTON. Beneath Nick's rakish elegance is a dangerous man--but does he have a plot? Ah, therein lies the rub. The characters are building inside my head, but how do I get them together?

Has anyone read the PRISONER OF ZENDA? What if I reverse the plot and send the foreign royalty--a princess this time--- to England? And she has this English cousin...

The cauldron is bubbling but more ingredients needed. Suggestions?
